Anne is the founder and owner of Healthcare Pathfinder. She built the company based on her strong belief that people deserve trusted, knowledgeable and empathetic support when it comes to managing their health and long-term care insurance benefits and care.
Her career began when she was 14 years old as a volunteer for Post 53 Emergency Medical Services in Darien, CT. Inspired by this early experience, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and worked as a surgical trauma nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital. She later served as a case manager and clinical supervisor at Branford Visiting Nurses Agency, where she saw firsthand the evolving role of insurance in patient care.
As managed care began reshaping healthcare, Anne transitioned to Tufts Health Plans in Massachusetts, becoming a Certified Case Manager and Utilization Review Nurse. There, she collaborated with physicians to guide patients through hospitalizations, rehab stays, and home care—gaining deep insight into how insurance impacts care across the entire continuum. This work underscored what she already believed: navigating our complex healthcare system requires expert guidance and strong advocacy.
After moving back to CT, Anne became Director of Consulting for a healthcare advice, advocacy and management firm. She worked closely with clients to analyze insurance coverage, manage claims, resolve disputes, and advocate for appropriate care. The relationships she formed were deeply rewarding, and as words spread, clients, neighbors, and professionals began referring people directly to her. That’s when she founded Healthcare Pathfinder—a company built on her belief that people deserve trusted, knowledgeable support when it comes to managing their health and long-term care insurance.
Anne’s professional expertise is shaped by decades in clinical care, insurance, and advocacy—but her most meaningful lessons have come from her own family. She’s walked the path of caregiving herself, navigating her father’s and mother’s care at the end of his. These experiences continue to fuel her passion for helping others during some of life’s most challenging moments.
At Healthcare Pathfinder, Anne and her team’s extensive professional and personal experiences allow them to help clients prepare for future needs, avoid costly mistakes, and provide services that are necessary. Our team provides support at times when they need to focus on caring for themselves, a family member, or an employee. Our mission is to create peace of mind.
